This is where it all started. My patterned jewelry has remained one of my most popular lines with fine art collectors and galleries alike. I was introduced to the technique of stamping during my years as an undergraduate metals student in college. I became enthralled with the highly precise and time consuming process of making my own stamping tools and carving the patterns by hand into the steel bars. After I created over fifty varieties of stamps I then began generating patterns for my bead work. In these pages you'll see the five unique patterns generated from my explorations. All of the pieces have matching earrings in their pattern and are available in gold or silver. The gold pieces can be purchased online through me or at galleries representing my work while the silver versions are only available through me directly. Identical in size to the earrings, the Small Bead Necklaces are a little smaller than a US Dime. Each necklace is set with two gemstones and the pattern can be seen on both sides. The beads are strung on hand made fine silver or gold cables and the locking mechanism is a nearly invisible, bayonet clasp. I like this style clasp because of its strength and because it does not interrupt the elegant, clean line of the necklace like traditional "Hook" clasps do. The necklaces come in three standard lengths (14 inch, 16 inch and 18 inch) but can be made in larger sizes for an additional charge. Gemstones do not always photograph true to life. Their colors and sparkle are often much richer and more brilliant in real life. Depending on what type of gemstone you choose, The Silver Small Bead Necklaces typically cost $190.
